I have a love-hate relationship with Halloween. I love the idea of of dressing up. I love watching the happiness in your kids as they look at themselves in the mirror. I love the treats and the generousity of your neighbours. I love all the fun activites at school - I try to squeeze it all in every year. I love looking at the decorated houses and the triangle eyed jack-o-lanterns. I think I would really love Halloween in Florida. Why is it so gosh darn cold here every Halloween night? Imagine your kids not having to wear mitts and their coat under the costume. Although I have to say that the cold is the one thing that brings my kids home that night, so I guess the cold can be a good thing too. But unfortunately all these ups lead to the ultra crustiness kids get after having too much candy, and too late at night. Monday night I found candy from last years trick or treating. I imagine this years will still be around next. Better there than stuck on my kids teeth. Well, with that said, Halloween is over for another year and the Starbucks Christmas cups are out. Bring on the next holiday!

It seems these two were not too happy with the spiders around the pumpkin. |
